Prepare is a liquid phosphoric acid-based material containing surfactants and emulsifiers for better
penetration of rust, lime-based and other difficult deposits. It is also a phosphate coater and can be used
as a pH adjustment additive to DuBois iron phosphatizing products. Prepare is used to wipe down metal,
and to remove light rust, heat treating scale, and hard water lime scale prior to painting. Prepare is
commonly used for rail rust and soil removal on locomotives and railroad passenger cars. It can also be
used to clean stainless steel tank trucks.
