Enviroscrub LM removes hydrogen sulfide and mercaptan species as well as various other sulfur-containing materials. It is a patented aqueous amine mixture which quickly and irreversibly reacts with hydrogen sulfide and mercaptan. All reaction products are biodegradable, water soluble and have minimal toxicity and are harmless to the environment. Enviroscrub LM can be used to scrub Non-Condensable Gases before venting and to reduce levels of H2S and Mercaptans in foul condensate systems to a safe level before entry. It can also be used in waste streams and ahead of sludge presses. It can be used to treat digester blow vents, smelt tank vents, and any other areas where there is a safety concern because of H2S and mercaptans in the gas stream.
