Maximize the Cleaning Power of Alpet PAA with this Foaming Additive.
This product is an outstanding foam booster additive for many types of solutions. It has very stable, long-lasting foam characteristics. This product contains only food-grade ingredients and if used as a cleaner in conjunction with Alpet® PAA 5.6% in accordance with the directions for use, does not need a rinse prior to start-up. This product may be used as a general-purpose foam additive for other types of uses, but a potable water rinse on food and beverage processing equipment is required if used with any product other than Alpet PAA 5.6%.

Perafoam™ is a very high foaming concentrate specially designed for use in conjunction with Best Sanitizers’ peroxyacetic acid sanitizer/disinfectant products, such as Alpet® PAA 5.6%. It is liquid and is easily dispensed at temperatures as low as 35 °F (2 °C). Perafoam™ is hard water tolerant and stable to oxidizers. Its long-lasting foam and surfactant package allows for longer contact on equipment and vertical surfaces than conventional methods. This results in superior sanitation and greater efficacy of peroxyacetic acid products. Perafoam™ uses only FDA-approved GRAS status ingredients and can be utilized in federally inspected meat, poultry, and seafood plants. No rinse is required if used at the recommended dose rates.

For Use With Alpet PAA 5.6% as a Cleaner: 

Manually or mechanically blend 6-12 fl. oz. of this product to 6 gallons of water. The dilution water may be ambient up to 150° F. For food contact surfaces, add 1.0-6.1 fl. oz. of Alpet PAA 5.6%. Add this blend through a conventional foam generating device (foamer) and adjust settings to obtain the desired foam characteristics. It is preferable to leave the foam product on equipment as long as possible before rinsing, but a potable rinse is not required. If used for Organic Production, a sanitizing rinse is required.

General Foam Additive Uses:

Manually or mechanically blend 4-24 fl. oz. of this product to 6 gallons of water (0.6-4 fl. oz. per gallon) and then add the 2nd product of choice to the solution and mix thoroughly. Apply through a conventional foam generating device (foamer) and adjust settings to obtain the desired foam characteristics.
